Bonjour readers. After so long, today, I'm able to share with you about my long overdue workshop-event that I went to. If you guys read Cleo Magazine, you would probably come across this page:
When I saw this, I was thinking - why not right? It would be fun, venue isn't that far and not to forget the yellow bubble saying, "participants will get door gift worth RM100"!! #ahpoattitude. Like come on, who doesn't like free stuff? (Okay, technically I paid to enter this workshop but if we take RM100 - the amount I pay for my share = RM73 worth of free gifts!) Not to mention, They gave us "couple package" which allows you to bring a partner at a cheaper cost yay! LOLOL.
I guess for me it's worth it because it gives me exposure to meet new people and enjoy myself. Plus, I have been trying to put myself out there and get out of my comfort zone. One step at a time!
Back to the event - Basically this event is like all other workshops. They guide you on how to use their product and show you the right way to massage your face, etc etc. Our speaker for the day came all the way from Japan Shiseido!
Did you know that ZA products are actually under Shiseido? Wow. I didn't know that. It seems that ZA products are sold not only in Malaysia, but also in Thailand and Tokyo. (I used to think it was a local brand.)
Pictures for the day:
I think what really caught my attention was their lipsticks. I did some sourcing for lipstick before and it seems quite okay.
Our Japanese speaker: Megumi Mitsui.
This is picture is where our speaker was selecting a lucky girl, Sherwyn (left) from our table to be her model on stage.
Here's a poop size mask:
that is actually the size of your face HAHA.
Sleeping mask face HAHAHAHHA.
One of their product that they free gift to us by plastering it under our chair. (Quite smart ah, save the trouble of passing one to each of us and you can be like "SURPRISE!")
Compact Powder.
Blusher.
Eyeshadows.
If you're wondering, no. We are not given the privilage to take all the make-up stuff home HAHAHA. I know all your aunty attitude okay, I also secretly wishing I could take back.
At the end of the event, here's a few friends that I made - missing 2 bloggers which went home early.
A picture with our speaker, Megumi! She looks super young and adorable. (it's the Japanese genes, must have run in the family or as the matter of fact, probably the whole society.) Sometimes I don't understand how they can have the HUGE heart of effort to get up everyday and make sure they are pretty enough to leave the house. Me no can do. Me iz slavez to SLEEPZ.
I mean, the best I can do is putting lip balm (that is if I remember) so I don't look like some zombie that just crawled out from bed.
Finally, just some absurd photos of me and a nice one of my sister hehe.

Want to know what did we get for the door gift?
Ta-Daa!
They gave us a really cute pink sticky note with a book and some ZA products. Yayy! Actually right, the only thing I want the most is their lipstick HAHAHA. But pink sticky note and all is cute too.
I tested the colour and it look like this: -
A natural look with a tad of tint.
My personal opinion of the ZA product:
- Their liquid eyeliner are easily smudge so it's kind of hard for me an amateur at make-up to use.
- Their lipstick is so far so good, mascara so-so. I don't really know how to differentiate which is a good brand of mascara and which is not, yet.
- Their eyeshadows colour are so-so, nothing too funky and overall it would be easy to use it.
Though, their beauty workshop did teach us how to finally apply a smokey eye effect! Hopefully this skilled learn does not go to waste or forgotten.
Okay, that's all for now. Au revoir, xx.
