Vintage Cafe // Summit

Any one up for vintage? haha. I heard there's a new cafe that recently open in Summit. Okay, I know Summit is not everyones' number one choice but when your college is near Summit, it's your second best place to go LOL.

Anyway, my sister and I decided to give it a try. It's a subtle cafe where you can miss it if you're not looking properly but, it's great for a hideout from social hahaha. It's cosy and small so yay.

Little decoration for the table

Free Coffee or Tea with your meal, well tea please! Free stuff always make people happy hahah.

Fish Carbonara.

It's okay for RM 7.90 (that's before GST) but the fish is just meh. Though, I went again like last week or something and they changed the fish! The new fish is way better haha.

They have limited choice in their menu but you can ask "what's special today" to get something different! The first time I went they had smoked chicken carbonara I think, and the second time- chicken aglio olio.

Inside the cafe facing out, and

 facing in.

Besides that, they have pastries! If I'm not mistaken, they change their variety of pastry every week. On my second visit, we tried their pumpkin pie and it's really good. They created a cinnamon crust with pumpkin + ginger filling. Sadly, I didn't take a picture so I couldn't show you how good it looks like.

You can also get your own customise cake from them for any special occasions but you need to order few days earlier. This is really convenient though for college students especially when we have friend's birthday. However, I don't really know how much does it cost for a whole cake so yeap, you guys need to check it out first,

Finally,

As you can see, it's not a very eye-catching. In fact, when I first pass by this shop I thought it was a bookshop LOL. You can find this shop at 1 floor above Popular, near the mamak stall OR if you know where's the Thai Shop, it's near there too.

Hope you guys like it and let me know if you've try it out! xx.

At loss for words

I've been thinking about this for awhile, and wonder how can one be there for their friend in tough times? It's like an impossible mission because at that time, everything one may know about the person, isn't the same person any more.

It actually hurts to see how our friend go through this in life and it pains us even more that there's really nothing we can do about it. Now that I'm at the other side of the door, I understand what is it like to be at loss for words.

Back to 2 - 3 years ago, I was the one going through a tough time (minor tough time) and there was a particular friend who only said, "Cheer up, I'm here if you need me." when I told that person about it. At first, I was quite piss and disappointed. It seems as if one didn't really bothered about it but now, maybe I was wrong. Maybe one thought it was the best to let me have my time and when I'm willing to talk, one'll be there.

I wish now that I didn't say things then because it was all a misunderstanding and now, it could be the caused of broken friendships. I'm sorry that I wasn't more mature then. That "tough time" wasn't really a big of deal now either. Lesson learned: If it wouldn't matter in 10 years time, it shouldn't matter now - need to really get this in my head.

Although, I'm glad that situation happened. If not, I wouldn't have thought about it and try to approach things differently now. Thankful for one of my friend too, that helped me realised there are other ways to be there for your friend.

The main reason for this post is that I want to express to my friend that's going through a tough time right now. I want to say that I'm here for you and if you need me, just call me. I hope that you would understand, I'm at loss for words, not that I'm not bothered. Words can't express how glad I am that I was able to get to you today and bother you with bits of my life, hopefully I can continue to do that without annoying you.

signing off, xx.

Short Video: I will - Chelsy

Remember I told you guys I was helping my friend with her video assignment? Yeap, the Japanese theme girl video hahaha.

It's finally finished! I'll let you guys be the judge. I was just about to say "just in case the video got removed, here's a uploaded version" but I decided to search for the youtube version first and wow. It really got removed LOL

Lucky me for saving it earlier.

I'm still trying to figure out how can I actually enlarge my video in the post because it's small like so not nice to watch something small - not to mention the video quality had drop a lot (no idea why T_T sorry guys)

Credits to the respective owners for the song and video, hope you guys enjoyed it!

xx.
