Disney cast Liu Yi Fei as Hua Mulan

That's right!!

Disney has selected Liu Yi Fei for the lead role in their upcoming movie Hua Mulan.

I'm so happy right now! I'm a big fan of Liu Yi Fei.

 Credits: Pinterest.

I feel that her acting is A++ (if you've seen her in The Return of the Condor Heroes 2006, Never Gone & Chinese Paladin). Although some of the storylines from those movies aren't that great, I absolutely find her stunning and her ability to portray the character (especially in The Return of the Condor Heroes) is...

there are no words for it.

Not to mention, she has a history of acting in kungfu-action movies (which will perfectly suit Hua Mulan as Mulan is a dynasty warrior).

In addition to that, it is truly a happy news to know that Disney wouldn't be whitewashing Hua Mulan. I grew up watching this movie, reading her story and I really love the character.

She's so strong, confident and doesn't need no man to save her! (though, she's lucky to get one that loves her)

This is all thanks to this person (for writing about it) and everyone else for fighting for #MakeMulanRight!!!

If I had known about it earlier, I would've joined the fight too... clearly, I'm not as updated as I think I am. #sorryi'manoutdatedfan

Thanks to this good news, I am really anticipating this movie now.

Korean BBQ & Boxtrolls

TO ALL YOU KOREAN FOOD LOVER..

What's so good about this restaurant? Based on my experience, I had tried several korean restaurant before and there's always a not-suit-my-taste like their kimchi is too strong or certain of their dishes aren't that good until recently I tried this restaurant.

This is by far the best korean BBQ restaurant I had eaten that doesn't seem to have any of the non-suitable taste of mine. Their kimchi is not too strong and so far their dishes are quite good!

A complimentary vegetables salad. The first time I try it, the taste was a bit too strong but after that it's okay. Best if you wrap it with meat and eat it!

Side dishes.

Stir-fried vegetable

Kimchi soup!

Fried Tang Hoon or known as Jap Chae!

BBQ pork! We had 2 types of BBQ pork but I don't remember which is which.

Seafood pancake.

BBQ meat wrapped with kimchi!

Dok-Bok-Ki (Rice cakes). I have try this before in other shops which their sauce ended up too thick or the rice cake not soft enough but this was just nice.

A kind of barley or rice drink which taste somewhat like barley HAHA.

Overall, I like this restaurant food. I even tried their cold noodle once and it wasn't as bad as the others (which my sister had tried before). It's not their cold noodles are bad, it's just too extraordinary from our normal taste bud. I suggest this to all those korean food lovers out there!

Next, BOXTROLLS.

This cartoon is quite cute and creepy. Well, their creator is the one that did Caroline too so yeah. There are some resembles. I think it's nice, cute and for all the cheese people out there HAHAHA. It's like their whole movie is partially made from the love of cheese.

Until next time! xx.

Lagoon

AT LAST! I manage to get all the photos from my friend and arrange it according to sequences of rides and place we went first. Yay yay! This means I can finally blog about Lagoon. This trip to lagoon was actually super spontaneous. My friend saw the promotion, "Buy 1 Free 1" for Sunway lagoon with the terms - you must bring your student card. OMG. OMG LIKE OMG.

That is like cheap you know!! I went early this year and the ticket is 100 ringgit there (that is if you have mykad) so can you see the amount of cheapness there?!?!?! Hahaha. Since we were going the weekend after my birthday, this trip is in conjunction with my birthday celebration with them.

Our day starts here!

Tomahawk & Tea Cup!

The birdie & water (but not wet one) HAHAHA. Sorry I don't know their names.

Rollercoaster!

Adelynn & I couple pictures LOL! Well, since my friends had so many couple picture, we must not lose also. #kiasulvlmax

Us & the Couple!

Our group picture (4 of us) was taken by this worker (which was so kind of him to ask us) not to mention his photography skills is good! Thank you for such a nice picture!!

This time going to Lagoon, I was prepared to take my hand phone in to take pictures gao gao (which means extreme lvl of ss). Well, my waterproof camera died few years back so I was willing to risk my phone. I even prepared seal-able plastic bag and wrapping in with another layer of plastic HAHA. #yolo. After so much work preparing, my friend said her boyfriend's phone is waterproof... WHATT.  'Keeps back yolo spirit' At least it's safer than my plastics hahha.

In case you guys don't know who, that's Yensin and her boyfriend below.

Since they had a couple picture... here's mine with Adelynn. #shameless

I'm wearing a H&M bikini top pairing it with a swim shorts (cmi to wear the underwear bottom) HAHA. My sister say my shorts is too high so.. It's a bit weird.

What a surprise! I bumped into Jia Tsin on the way to get lunch and my hair looks weird..

First time eating Marybrown! I'm still legit as a kid okay.

Eating Marybrown at Subway.. hahaha.

After lunch, we decided to keep the bag and go on rides together if not, we always split as a pair because someone have to carry the bag (bag = phone = pictures). I think I should go get a waterproof casing. There were a few people that bought the casing and it's so convenient!!

There was a diving show too, which was quite creative I think! Shortly after watching the diving show, we went to shower and off for some dessert at Hui Lau San! Their dessert are mainly mangoes with side ingredients like sago, pomelo and so on.

Selfie!

Because I look dumb with my eyes closed. HAHA.

We had Mango Sago & Papaya bird nest I think. Quite nice though, the papaya comes with coconut milk and I was never a fan of coconut milk but this taste good.

Later, we had dinner at TGIFridays!

Favourite fried macaroni, Farfalle with mushroom and baked potatoes! I was really looking forward to the chocolate cake they would give for my birthday BUT we left in a rush because I thought I was watching a movie at 8.30pm but actually not... CAN I LIKE GO BACK FOR IT NOW. #sosad

Here's a selfie of my birthday present - daisy headband!

After dinner, I went to catch a movie with my family! We watched Hercules and err.. yeah that's me hugging the lion LOL. This movie is slightly different, but nice. It's just a different view on Hercules that instead of Hercules is the legend itself, it's the people with Hercules that makes the legend. (do you get what I mean..)

That's it for my day out. Until next time! xx.
