Vency's 18th Birthday

VENCY'S 18TH BIRTHDAY.

On a beautiful Sunday night, it was my beloved VENCY birthday! (sorry it sounds boring bleh.) Anyway, one of my high school sweetheart was turning 18!! #tearsofjoy. #growingupfast. #proudofyou. LOLOLOL. Okay, I wasn't the organizer for this party but I was invited which made me very happy hahhahaa. (Even though it's not my birthday.)

Aside from the movies and all, I join everyone for dinner. We had dinner at Skypark, One City in a restaurant named Inaho which was really cute and I will tell you why later. We only had phone camera which explains the bad photo quality NOT TO MENTION it was at night so the lightings were pretty bad too. Lucky my phone flash doesn't ruin the picture (just our eyes) so partially saved from dreadful picture quality hahaha. Here are some pictures of that night.

My Torinbara Ramen (if not mistaken). Not bad actually, it is curry chicken with ramen so you can see, the soup is sticky.. (though I prefer non-sticky soup) but it was my first time trying that restaurant so nevermind haha.

Cold Soba. I recall not liking cold soba before this because mainly the noodle is COLD (like what kind of food taste good when it's cold... I can't think of any except desserts but that doesn't count ok.) And it taste weird last time but I tried my friend's one that night and it was not too bad.

Inaho have more of sushi types so in a way limited choices of food I think. If I remember correctly, they have like a few salads, a lot of sushi, maybe like 4 - 5 types of noodles and rice so unless your only aim is to feast on sushi then that would be a nice place let alone the scenery.

Time to bring the cake! *drumroll. It was supposed to be a surprise but when the waiter was bringing out the cake, the candle went off. HAHAHA, so much for surprise but Vency also guessed it already so oh well. She was even more prepared than us to record the arrival of the cake.

I made a birthday card for Vency. The card was a collage of us since 2010 but I was rushing so it was quite messy. Here's the back cover that I can only share with you because it is one of the least embarrassing pictures (besides us looking like old grandma, or being super "LALA/immature faces") in the card hahaha. 

I used to make a comic strip out from those pictures which was really funny. Sadly, I could not remember what I crap I came up with so I cannot do the same for you to read. You know when you're young and have too much time to waste, your brain can somehow work in wonders producing lame and dumb jokes, etc etc...

It's such a coincidence that the girls are all wearing black and white. It suits the birthday girl because her dress is both black and white if you realised hahahaha.

NASAM Fun Fair

In case you never heard of NASAM before, NASAM is an organisation for strokee people. It is a stroke rehabilitation. Anyway, they had a NASAM Fun Fair/ Charitable/ Carnival a few days ago haha.

Okay so I did not take pictures of the food because it was slightly hectic and I only got this roasted lamb which was very good.

Oh this was fun, I used to play it with my cousin during his school carnival! We made a deal to take turns to sit on the board thing there and then let each other try to dunk each other. Do you get what I am saying? It is like when he sits on the board, I throw the ball and when I sit, he throws the ball. It was really funny because none of us manage to dunk each other so the person let us press the hole. My cousin face was so priceless hahahahha. He thought he was safe and was giving off the show off face until I press the button/hole and he was like "omg shit, fall." hahahaha.

I wore a jumpsuit today, which my mum got for me from Thailand and I really liked it! Oh, and an additional hat hahah.

They had Chinese Drum performances and I was amused by it. This is like so good for exercising because they use so much strength to perform this.

I know today's blog post is quite short it is just I am so out of brain juice it is killing me. *insteadcryingfacelvlmax. On second thought, here's a meme so you would feel me more hahaha.

How To Train Your Dragon 2

YES! YESSS! LIKE FINALLY, YES. The movie I have been waiting for is out! I don't know where to start explaining my love for this movie. It is like my FAVOURITE movie out of a lot of favourites that I have. hahahhaa. It was supposed to be showing on 12 June or something but it came out earlier like, maybe 6 June? Anyway, the earlier the better. It makes me a happy kid. yay yay, yay yay.

Okay, I'm going to stop my enthusiasm on this. Although, I have to say that before you watch HTTYDragon 2, you should watch their first one. It is related so you would understand better if you watch 1 then 2. 

My love for Toothless... and hiccup. I have to say that hiccup is not my "love" but together with toothless, they make such a great pair you can cry a river. Well, at least for me. hahaha.

I even draw a toothless on my phone cover. It was hard to find one nice illustration of toothless but I GOT IT! Thanks to the person who did this, it's so pretty I love it.

That's not all. I know I have not blog in a while, it's just my homework are piling up and I have no inspiration/ideas/motivation to finish them!! Here is from the other day I went to Main Place. Just a good hair kind of day. 

I also got the chance to try out KOMUGI'S Pudding. I had tried their original flavour (after I come across it on someone's blog) which was nice but their caramel flavour didn't really suit me so this time, I decided to try their green tea pudding!

For this flavour, I think it is okay but I have to eat more of it first to confirm whether it is a yes or a no.

Flower Crown & Dreamcatcher

Lately I had been researching on how to DIY your own flower crown. I have seen many flower crowns which is so pretty for example: Lovisa (accessories shop) has the best flower crowns I have ever come across so far but they are quite pricey so I decided to try to make my own flower crown. 

This is when I did not have a flower crown... so I improvise. hahahahhaa.

I did not make a tutorial on any of my DIY mainly because I just wanted to try it out so... yeah. hahahaha. I saw several DIY on other website which is quite cool and nice; just google alright! The biggest problem making this flower crown is getting the material. Fake flowers are hard to come across and I had to search everywhere for it until I finally found one but it was dusty. haih, WHY YOU NO SELL FAKE FLOWERS. Do anyone know where can I get lots of variety of fake flowers which is soft and pretty? 

Anyway, these are my materials!

I use flower wire, you can get them from hardware stall or Daiso. 

This is the result after spending my whole evening making it! What do you think? I am pretty contented with it! I know the colours is out because I took this during night and my room light is yellow so had to flash. My flowers colour was purple and white. I might consider making more if I can find more flowers!!

Super love this one too hahahaha but my dad did not really liked it because it is so black that it looked like a bad omen. I am so sad like why did he not mention it earlier?!?!?! It is okay, I will just make another one which most likely will be WHITE hahahahha. Quite excited to quickly get it done with so I can hang it somewhere in my room and admire it but the problem is finding the material. It is not easy to find feathers that are pretty same goes to fake flowers.

Alright, I am going to continue my search for more materials tomorrow. Any place you know that sells cheap stuff/material I can get? Let me know! xx.

Mashed Potato

Here is a mashed potato salad. Do not be fooled by its looks. This is no ordinary mashed potato. 

This mashed potato salad contains more than just potato. It has carrot, onion, eggs and so on. When you eat it, it is so gooood. You would be astonish by the taste of that mashed potato. There are many kind of mashed potato. Some that are like KFC one;

And there is the mashed potato cheese with additional broccoli? Looks good but never tried it before haha!

Then there is the not-so-ordinary potato. There are many ways in making this mashed potato for example, some people add milk and butter to their mashed potato where else some just add butter.

Finally, a ordinary mashed potato where you add nothing in it. Have you eaten it before? I think I got hahahah. Before my cousin taught me to make mashed potato, all my mashed potato is rough and not so yummy cause there is no milk or butter! No one would eat them (all these picky people) haha but after adding milk and butter everyone loves it! Lesson learned: mashed potato must have either butter or milk or both.

You are probably wondering why I am suddenly talking about mashed potato. I have absolutely no idea. hahahahah. I was thinking about the mashed potato I ate the other day at Pasta Zanmai. I even send a picture of it to my cousin and usually he is too busy to bother about me but he replied when I asked him to make mashed potato for me on my birthday!! So happy!! hahaha. Maybe I will change my order for mashed potato to something else... still contemplating whether I should take potato or something else haha. #greedy

I have tried KFC and not-so-ordinary mashed potato before. They nice but the mashed potato salad beats it all. It is like so good, love it! I want to try making that someday, the restaurant even add some salad sauce omggg. hahahha. Now that I am on this topic, I feel like making some not-so-ordinary mashed potato for myself... so what kind of mashed potato have you tried before? xx.
