A mini getaway

What an evening today is.. filled with haze, choking me and my nose. The haze is so thick I can't even see my future LOLOL. Anyway, here's an update on my trip to Port Dickson.

My parents had a wedding dinner to attend in PD which was the main reason why we were going there hehe. SO, we left on a Sunday morning and reached by noon.

First thing to do... is to eat. eat. EAT.

while waiting for our food..

Details of the Ear Cuff.

Pei's OOTD: Cotton On Top | Denim Skirt Romper | H&M Boots.

Hui's OOTD: Fedora Hat | Cotton On Top | Uniqlo Skirt

I have been dying to try this mixture of stripes for a long time. I picture it in my mind for the stripes to be different yet complimenting each other.

What do you guys think?

Okeh, so I like this picture but my sister say I look fat. She say it's my make up!! I wanted to try a thicker brows and now look. -_-

AIYA it's ok right. You guys won't judge me right T_T

Extremely expensive coconut LOL // RM 8

Kang Kung Belacan (medium) // RM 20

Broccoli & Mushroom (small) // RM 15

Dry Curry Squid (small) // RM 35

This dry curry squid is A-MAYYY-ZING! I would definitely go back for more.

Kung Po Fish (Fish fried with dry chilli & big onions) // RM 30

Complimentary Dessert!

The dishes at Kim's Seafood Palace are all yummy but pricing wise I think it's a little on the high side. Anyway, I totally recommend this place to everyone.

Location at:
Kampung Bahasa Kapor, Port Dickson,
Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Did you guys heard about the Lexis Hotel. It seems like a rising trend to stay there because of their famous hibiscus water chalet at Grand Lexis (the sister/brother of Lexis) where each of the room have a private pool, so cool, I know. Unfortunately, I'm not one of the cool kids. Fortunately, the room we got at Lexis worth our money so much!!

Apparently, Lexis is located right next to Glory Beach Resort.

Lobby

May I present you... our Premium Tower Sea View Room. This room is an open toilet concept which is really big and they even have a bathtub (so it's like our private pool too HAHA)

The first thing we see when entering the room is the toilet,

Then another door through is the room,

My apologies for the extremely overexposed pictures. I forgot to adjust my camera as I was too excited. :(

Well, I feel that the room is really spacious and it can fit up to 4 adults with 2 children. The extra privilege of having a private pool isn't a necessity for us as they have a public pool too. Sunday and a public pool, sounds like it's enjoyable HAHA.

This calls for swimming time!

After a tiring swim (so weak aih), we went for a walk by the beach.

and then, I decided to check out Lexis's water chalet.

It's quite cute and they have buggy service to bring you in and out from your room (if your room is far).

During dinner time, I snacked a lot of dry strawberries LOL. It's because MA SISTAS are not ready and I'm starving ok,

Just look at that. The amount of joy (internally) eating strawberries. T_T

We wanted to check out Lexis's Coffee House but they only provide in-room service for their Chef's Speciality Fried Chicken so back to the room again and order room service LOL.

About 20 mins, our food arrive!! The starving ENDS HERE.

Overall, the fried chicken and fries are the usual thing you would get but their pizza is so... disappointing that I wanna refund LOL. The pizza cost us RM 26 and my sister suspect that the batter is half cook like ewww.

After dinner, it's bed time.

Next morning, we packed up and checked out.

On the way out, we found a restaurant serving dim sum and noodles so, why not.

Fried Carrot Cake, Yums!

Tea

Har Mee (Prawn Noodle) Salty!

Dim Sum

Eating this dim sum is like aih. Some of it is good and some... not so good. :(

My mum brought her rabbit pau back for us because she say it's so cute!

Really cute though, HAHA. Such a good idea. Thanks mum for saving yours!

Finally, to finish this off with a short video of my trip!

Signing off now, xx.

KS you guys!

What a fine night to blog today. Cool breeze filling the living room, oh so lovely.

This reminds me of the cool breeze at Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor. (fuish! smooth enough or not!!).

In the first weekend of September, my family & some relatives decided to go for a one day trip to Kuala Selangor hehehe. It's my first time in 19 years going there. I don't know why but there were a lot of people going to Kuala Selangor at that time, in more specific Sekinchan. (trending ah HAHA)

After tons of research, we have finally come to a decision of a place.. to eat. #firstworldproblems. Our first stop at Kuala Selangor was Kuan Hwa Seafood Restaurant. This restaurant is "quarterly" build on water, because half of the restaurant is above the water.

Fried Prawns

Ginger Lala

Oyster Omelette

Sweet Potato Leaves

Praying Mantis Prawn

First time actually eating it from scratch (I used to eat those mixed with flour), so hard to eat LOL. You need to remove their shell like prawns, except their shell is so tough, it's an achievement if you manage to remove it without destroying the flesh. So I suggest you just eat it like choki sticks (or at least that's how I try to eat it LOL).

Yes, choki. Do know that the praying mantis flesh is not as smooth as choki so don't expect smooth flowing.

LOL sorry not being helpful.

Crabz with steamed egg (as shown at the right side)

Overall the food was good, fresh! Service was slow though even when the shop is empty...  Pricing wise, I could not remember :(

I would suggest you guys to go there to eat because next to the restaurant, is a mini fish market. FRESH FISH JUST RIGHT OUT OF WATER. Tons of people go there to buy fresh fishes (literally enough to feed you for a month) on their way home.

The next stop is.. Sekinchan. Well, our original plan was to go eagle feeding!! Sadly, it rained so there won't be any boat going out to the sea.. I'd love to feed some eagles though. ;w;

The famous wishing tree at Sekinchan.

what caught my attention was... THEY HAD SWINGS. YAYYYYY.

Everyone took turns to sit on the swing hehehehe..

and there's me.. I guess this is the cons of always being behind the camera. You don't always get nice pictures of yourself ;w; I had to blur the background to redirect the focus.

Satisfied sitting the swing, now attention divert back to the wishing tree hehe. I realise this outfit coordination is kind of off.. but whatever too late LOL.

My grandpa got excited when he saw the flag and demanded for a picture. "You there! Take me a picture!!" jkjk.

Love this picture of my grandparents. It may not be what it seems and it isn't always all good times but this is a really nice and rare picture of them. (Now I have something to show my future kids!!) I will tell them, "see your great grandparents were making memories back then. when's my turn!!"

My sister's boyfriend epic face below LOL!

Great job with the dragging the bubbles though. *applause.

A different feel in these pictures, I wanted to emphasize more on the colour of the sky. Thank you Master May for some really good shots of me.

Look how eggcited the little girl is!! My new friend HAHAHA. Pfft, I know you only want my bubbles you little :(

Master Soo demonstrating his bubbles skills, watch out guys! We got a new sifu in town.

Loving my sister's braid WHICH I braided for her. (self-applause) Perks of being the youngest. I wish I could braid my own hair like that. :( Still in progress of learning..

Our epic faces while trying hard to "carry" a bubble LOLOL.

Finally, closing the post with ma YAYA sisterhood.

Sadly, not everyone want to participate in my can-can style. you betrayers!!
